Dr. O’Brien earned his B.S. degree in biological chemistry from Bates College in 2011, and completed his D.M.D. at the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine in 2015. While in dental school, Dr. O’Brien received several national awards in recognition of his research accomplishments in the Department of Reconstructive Sciences. Following graduation Dr. O’Brien completed a 12 month residency in the Advanced Education in General Dentistry program at the University of Connecticut. During his residency, Dr. O’Brien gained exposure to state of the art technologies and materials in restorative, implant, and cosmetic dentistry. He is an active member of the Contemporary Dental Study Club, and is committed to lifelong continuing education to stay current with the latest trends in the dental profession. Dr. O’Brien enjoys fly fishing, kitesurfing, skiing, and spending time with his wife Ashley, his son Wesley, and their yellow lab Wader.

Dr. Ferson attended the College of the Holy Cross where she earned her BA in Biology/Pre-Med in 1994. She received her DMD degree from the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine in 2001 where she also completed her general dentistry residency. Dr. Ferson has received recognition for her work in the area of dental materials including the Academy of Dental Materials Award and the Quintessence Award of Research Achievement. Her areas of focus include occlusion, TMJ, Invisalign, and most recently Botox to support increased patient demand. Her memberships include the Massachusetts Dental Society, the American Dental Association, and the American Academy of Facial Esthetics. As a Duxbury native, she loves practicing in her hometown where she is an active member of the community. An avid reader and mother of three, she enjoys time at her favorite place; Duxbury Beach.

Dr. J. Devon Lutz, a Plymouth native, earned his BS in Zoology from the University of Maine at Orono in 1995 and graduated cum laude from Boston University School of Dental Medicine in 1999. Dr. Lutz is passionate about _developing long lasting relationships with his patients and treating them with the highest level of compassion and care. Dr. Lutz is an active member of the Massachusetts Dental Society, American Dental Association, and the Seattle Study Club. Dr. Lutz enjoys golf, mountain biking, and family time with his wife and three daughters.

Dr. Joann Mangano (previously Dr. O’Brien) earned her B.A. degree in Cell and Molecular Biological Sciences from Connecticut College and went on to receive her D.M.D. degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 2015. While conducting research at the Center for Integrated Tissue Engineering in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology, she was awarded the Dean’s Research Honors Scholarship. She then completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program through NYU Lutheran Medical Center. Dr. Mangano strives to provide a comfortable environment in which she can work with her patients to achieve the highest level of oral health. In her free time, she cherishes family time with her husband, daughter, and dog.

Jayne graduated from Northeastern University and Forsyth School of Dental Hygiene earning a degree in Health Sciences. She has been a part of the talented and caring Wiemeyer Team for many years. She enjoys seeing the familiar faces of long-time patients as well as meeting new ones. Jayne provides gentle and thorough care to help patients achieve and maintain a healthy mouth. In her free time, she loves going to the beach, traveling and spending time with family and friends.

Bonnie is a 2008 graduate of Cape Cod Community College of dental hygiene and has been with Wiemeyer Dentistry since October 2010. Her friendly demeanor and thorough but gentle touch make her well liked by her patients! Bonnie loves to educate her patients on oral health and how to make their mouths as healthy as possible! Bonnie loves travel and is an animal lover and avid hiker in her free time.

Joy Callahan provides exceptional oral care to our patients. She has years of hands-on experience and training that has enabled her to help countless patients regain and maintain a beautiful smile. She performs comprehensive dental cleanings and conducts thorough exams on new patients to review their overall oral health. She takes gum measurements, checks for signs of tooth decay, and periodontal disease. Lastly, she records detailed notes of any conditions that are being treated and the specific procedures performed.

Gosia graduated from the Dental Hygiene program at Cape Cod Community College. She has been practicing “gentle” hygiene since 2011 and joined the Wiemeyer Dentistry team in 2015. Gosia is certified in local anesthesia and delivers comfortable periodontal therapy. She enjoys spending her leisure time in the garden, by the water or on a mountain; the closer to the nature the better!

Wendy is an accomplished hygienist and a passionate advocate for oral health with over 37 years of experience. She brings a wealth of knowledge and commitment to excellence with every patient interaction. Understanding the dynamic nature of dentistry, she actively engages in continuing education courses and stays connected in her professional networks. Her commitment to ongoing learning ensures that she remains at the forefront of industry trends and is equipped to deliver the highest quality of care to her patients. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, country concerts with our dental assistant, Melissa, visiting family in the Berkshires and spending time with her husband, son and their three dogs, Leo, Bella and Benji.

Danielle has been practicing dental hygiene since 2018. She graduated with high honors from Cape Cod Community College and was a member of Phi Theta Kappa National Honor Society. Danielle has an associate’s degree in business management and will soon be completing her bachelor’s degree in health care sciences. Danielle is passionate about dentistry and providing exceptional oral hygiene therapies to all of her patients. In her free time, Danielle enjoys yoga, hiking, kayaking and traveling. But most of all, she loves spending time with her three children, family and friends.
